Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Certified Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has a current certification in dental radiography and at least two years of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
- Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
- Assist dentist during procedures and exams
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
- Schedule appointments
Qualifications
- Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
- Previous experience as a dental assistant
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
Compensation: $21.00 - $26.00 per month
About Mandarin Dentistry
Dr. Moshea is a southern girl at heart. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, she loved school and went on to the University of Alabama where she obtained a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology. “Roll Tide.” She then moved back to Tennessee for dental school where she also met her husband. After completing dental school, she moved to Florida to begin practicing dentistry.
She married her husband Joseph in 2017 and they welcomed their son Emmett in January of 2020. Dr. Moshea is devoted to continuing her dental education and pursuing the highest level and technologically sophisticated care for her patients. She’s completed a one-year study of implant techniques at the University of Florida and is studying the latest in 3D digital dentistry.
Dr. Moshea enjoys spending time with her family and of course watching SEC college football. She is a member of the Junior League of Jacksonville and enjoys giving back to our community.
